Electra Hotels & Resorts remain firmly committed to the values of respect,
dignity, and ethical operations.
Electra Hotels & Resorts reject all forms of exploitation and human trafficking,
recognizing the seriousness of the issue and the important role that the hospitality
industry can play in preventing such practices.
This commitment constitutes an integral part of the ESG (Environmental, Social &
Governance) responsibility of Electra Hotels & Resorts and is aligned with the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:
- SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

2. Scope of Application
This policy applies to:

- Not permitting any form of modern slavery or human trafficking in any part
of their operations. - Not cooperating with suppliers or external partners involved in exploitative
practices. - Requiring suppliers and other partners to comply with the same standards
and to apply them throughout their own partnerships and supply chains. - Promoting social responsibility and ethical conduct at all levels of
operation. - Continuously strengthening awareness and training regarding the risks of
modern slavery.
4. Training and Awareness
Electra Hotels & Resorts invest in the continuous training and awareness of its
staff.
In particular:
- Relevant training is integrated into the onboarding process for new
employees. - Periodic training sessions and updates are provided on identifying
potential signs of human trafficking. - Special emphasis is placed on the Front Office, Housekeeping, Security,
and Human Resources departments, where there is a higher likelihood of
interaction with guests or partners. - Training is incorporated into the Group’s ESG initiatives, aiming to foster a
culture of responsibility and humanity. - Suppliers, contractors, and business partners are informed about this
Policy.
5. Roles and Responsibilities
Electra Hotels & Resorts bear overall responsibility for ensuring the proper and
consistent implementation of this Policy across all its activities.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Director is responsible for:
- the day-to-day monitoring and implementation of the Policy,
- the ongoing evaluation of its effectiveness, and
- ensuring that all staff are informed, understand, and comply with the
provisions of the Policy.
Obligations of Staff and Partners
All employees, suppliers, and third-party partners are required to strictly adhere
to this Policy, actively contributing to the implementation and reinforcement of the
principles it upholds.
6. Reporting Procedure
Electra Hotels & Resorts encourage all employees to report any incident or
suspicion related to human trafficking.
- Reports may be submitted in accordance with the Whistleblowing Policy.
- Electra Hotels & Resorts are committed to handling every case with
discretion, impartiality, and respect. - In confirmed cases, the relevant authorities are notified immediately
(Police, Public Prosecutor’s Office, National Helpline 1109).
7. Disciplinary Measures for Policy Breach
Employees who violate this Policy may be subject to disciplinary sanctions in
accordance with the Internal Work Regulations. A breach of the Policy may also
result in termination of employment.
Electra Hotels & Resorts reserve the right to immediately terminate its
cooperation with any supplier or third party that violates this Policy.
8. Support for Victims and Partnerships
Electra Hotels & Resorts collaborate with relevant authorities and organizations
that provide support to victims of human trafficking, contributing to the provision
of assistance, protection, and their smooth reintegration into society.
In addition, they encourage collaboration with social partners, NGOs, and tourism
stakeholders to exchange knowledge and improve prevention practices.
9. Alignment with the ESG Strategy
This policy forms an integral part of the Group’s ESG framework and falls under
the thematic area “Social Responsibility & Human Rights”.
Through this initiative, Electra Hotels & Resorts:
- Strengthen the social pillar of its ESG strategy,
- Demonstrate alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
- Integrate the principles of ethical business conduct across all its

This policy is reviewed annually by the Human Resources Department in
cooperation with the Legal Department and the ESG Committee of Electra Hotels
& Resorts, to ensure it remains up to date, applicable, and aligned with
