Rooms

Rooms Safety At Electra Hotels & Resorts

  • Bathrobes, towels and amenities are sanitized and packaged.
  • Housekeeping services and daily change of linen are temporary limited as a standard procedure. Room cleaning and linen changing are an opt-in procedure by giving a call to the Reception.
  • It is recommended that only one housekeeper enters the room. If additional staff (technician or staff for specialized deep cleaning) are required, the housekeeper enters last to disinfect the room.
  • All multi-use printed info material will be discontinued and will be available digitally on the rooms TV and the Electra Hotels Mobile App.
  • TV & AC controls will be covered and sanitized and before each check in.
  • Mini bar service is temporary stopped as a standard procedure. All you need  can be provided through our room service.
  • Room Service menu is available through Electra Hotels  Mobile App as well through  a QR code provided in an visible position in the room.
  • Verification of cleaning process is confirmed with a relevant door hanger outside the room.
  • Intensification of cleaning and disinfection with use of 60° C minimum.
  • Natural and intensive ventilation during cleaning process.
  • Intensification of cleaning and disinfection of ventilation and air conditioning filters.
Reception

Safety in our Reception Area at Electra Hotels & Resorts

  • Digital pre check-in  is available in Electra Hotels mobile App leading to a touchless check-in experience! Fast track check-in is also available.
  • Standard check-in is now at 15.00 and check-out at 11.00.
  • Every Team Member of Front Desk Office has received advanced training in order to comply with protective measures against COVID-19 announced by the World Health Organization and the Hellenic Ministry of Health.
  • All Team Members have received training for their health monitoring and the hotel is following staff’s medical screening procedure.
  • We are keeping COVID-19 incidents reports according to the Greek legislation.
  • We conduct temperature screenings of guests and staff.
  • Every Team Member will wear disposable gloves & masks of different colour throughout their entire shift.
  • Discrete Floor Stickers are installed in front of Front Office Desk for social distancing purposes.
  • Key cards and keys will be disinfected and given to the guest in an envelope and will not be given back to the reception until check out. During check-out guests should place the key card in the special box that stands in the Front Desk Office in order to be disinfected.
  • Contactless payment and sending invoices are recommended.
  • Digital Signage in the lobby informs guests about best practices of health and safety that both hotels staff & guests must follow.
  • We follow intensification of cleaning and disinfection of Reception area.
  • We endorse guests to ask the Front Desk Team Members for any information or clarification about their stay.

  • Number of guests using the lift will be controlled, guests on the same booking are allowed to use the lift all together, i.e. a family of 4.
  • Outside every lift, Disinfection Dispensers  are installed for the use of guests.
  • We follow intensification of cleaning and disinfection of buttons and all high touch areas.

  • Floor marking for keeping distances are placed in common areas, restaurants, bars and swimming pools.
  • Both digital information and signage are provided for the smooth flow of visitors to public areas with the defined distances based on Health Protocols.
  • Dispenser with hand sanitizer (63-70% alcohol) are placed in key places for guests.
  • We follow intensification of cleaning and disinfection of Reception.
  • Wearing a face mask is mandatory in all indoor common areas.

Restaurants & Bars

  • Tables and chairs in all F&B outlets are spread out according to Hellenic legislation.
  • Guests will be informed through Digital Signage and Queuing system for all breakfast & dinner meals in restaurants.
  • An online reservation system for restaurants is provided via Electra Hotels mobile app
  • Guests can check restaurants and bars menu through a QR code placed on each table or they may ask hotels’ executive staff for any clarification.  
  • Reservation lists will only allow a permitted number of guests per time slot.
  • Signage is placed to remind our guests to keep their distances.
  • All the equipment is washed and disinfected in high temperature following Health and Safety Protocols.
  • Restaurants and bars operate under HACCP certification.
  • The Front Desk Office is always at guests’ disposal for any clarification.
Medical Emergencies

Medical Emergencies

  • Electra Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to refuse accommodation to a guest arriving with a contagious disease.  In cases where sickness occurs during the stay, please notify the Front Desk staff.  In the case of serious sickness, you may be requested to receive appropriate health care from a nearby healthcare facility.  During epidemics we are entitled to employ precautionary measures within our judgment or as required by local authorities.  We may charge you a room cleaning fee as we deem appropriate under the circumstances.
  • Electra Hotels & Resorts Staff  are trained to handle a COVID-19 incident.
  • The infected guest is separated from other people by at least 2 m.
  •  If the condition requires it and the patient is not needed to be transferred to the hospital, the administration takes appropriate measures to ensure that the patient receives the proper care. This includes the potential need to appoint an employee who has been adequately trained to prevent and control infections, as well as to follow the measures of the Health Protocols.
  • All used items are treated appropriately to mitigate the risk of transmitting the disease. Consumables (hand towels, gloves, masks, tissues) are placed in a container with a lid and discarded according to the hotel's action plan and national waste management regulations.
  • Electra Hotels & Resorts Group are cooperating with a Secondary Healthcare Provider. In case a guest is suspended with COVID-19, an appointed doctor will attend and  perform with a molecular test, in the hotel premises, if needed.

How many times will I receive housekeeping services and linen changing?

Housekeeping services and daily change of linen is temporary limited as a standard procedure. There is an ‘’option in’’ procedure installed for room cleaning and linen changing by giving a call to the Reception, or through our mobile app.

How are you deep-cleaning regularly multi-use items such as key cards and safes, abs, TV remotes and light switches?

All multi-use info material will be discontinued and will be available digitally on the rooms TV and the Hotels Mobile App. Key cards and keys will be disinfected and given to the guest in a sealed envelope and will not be given back to the reception until check out. TV & AC controls will be covered and sanitized and before each check in.

Guests’ health

Are you giving every guest a temperature check to make sure no one staying there is sick?

No we will follow the Action Plan enforced by the legislation of the Hellenic Ministry of Health that recommends a dedicated doctor that will lead the procedure of any guests who develops symptoms of COVID- 19

 What is the standard procedure of the hotel if a guest is suspended with COVID- 19?

We will follow the Action Plan as per the legislation of the Hellenic Ministry of Health. Electra Hotels & Resorts Group is permantly cooperating with a Secondary Healthcare Provider. In case a guest is suspended with COVID-19, a specified doctor will attend and proceed with a molecular test, even in the hotel if needed.

Food & Beverage

Will breakfast be held for all guests at the same time?

No, there will be different slots and each client needs to pre-book the available slot through the Mobile App.

Will there be limited seating arrangement during lunch or dinner in restaurants?

Yes, based on the COVID health and safety standards, tables and chairs in all F&B outlets are spread out according to legislation.             

Will breakfast buffet be operating as normal?

Yes it will. Restaurant Team Members will assist you serve yourselves from the buffet depending on the occupancy.  You may be informed through Digital Signage and Queuing system for breakfast. Staff will clean and disinfect all buffet surfaces according to our reinforced cleaning and sanitation plan.

Will restaurants and bars be operating as normal?

Yes! Our guests will need to make a reservation through a Mobile App or the Reception. Alll cutlery, crockery and glassware will be washed and disinfected in high temperatures. All trays and other service equipment will be disinfected after each use. Our Restaurant Team Members will serve you using appropriate mask or transparent face shield.

Social Distancing

How are you safely managing social distancing?

Discrete Floor Sticker is installed in front of reception desks for social distancing purposes.

Tables and chairs in all F&B outlets are spread out according to Hellenic legislation.

Guests will be informed through Digital Signage and Queuing system for all breakfast & dinner meals in restaurants.

An online reservation system for restaurants is provided via the Hotels Mobile App.  Reservation lists will only allow a permitted number of guests per time slot.

At the pools there will be a distance of between umbrellas around the pool and sunbeds will have a distance of 2 meters from each other.

Several areas will have specially designed signs to remind our guests to keep their distances.
