The best places to spot Kefalonia’s feathered inhabitants are the Koutavos Lagoon and Livadi Marshes where more than 100 species have been reported from fairly common species, such as the Grey Heron, Little Egret, and Black-winged Stilt, to less common waterfowl such as the Glossy Ibis and Night Heron.
