JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the maintenance and function of all computers on a daily basis.
- Responsible for smooth operation and co-ordination of vendors for Guest & Employee Internet, Property Management Systems-PMS, Point of Sale -POS, Telephony systems and other software vendors
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Set up of all computer systems, telephone systems and Wi-fi, LAN Networking and carry out any updates or repairs.
- Ensure development, maintenance and replenishment of IT department inventory and supply system
- Maintain a daily log of all activities and ensure timeliness and accuracy of reports generated by the IT department.
- Responsible for learning and maintaining knowledge of internal controls and ensuring compliance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology field or Associates Degree in Computer Systems is required
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the computer field
- Knowledge of hardware and software systems (certification will be valued)
- Thorough knowledge and ability to operate word processing applications, spreadsheets, and multiple databases.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to operate effectively and efficiently under stress and multitasking when needed
- Excellent communication, listening & problem solving skills.
- Fluency in English
- Ability to travel and driver license
- Hands-on approach with a ‘can-do!’ work attitude
